In case you don’t know, this tweak is capable of adding music controls, Settings menu toggles and other items to your app switcher in order to make it more intuitive, efficient and functional.

According to iDownloadBlog,

We first saw evidence of Auxo 2 at the beginning of the month, when the group’s UI designer Sentry posted a pair of 6-second video clips teasing some of the tweak’s features. And today, a much longer trailer has been posted.

Auxo 2 is expected to be released very soon -- on April 2nd. Without a doubt, it will be available on Cydia. Well, that’s all I can tell you at the moment. Stay tuned for more news on the topic.

Good news for all iPhone 3G and iPod touch 4G owners – a jailbreak tool called p0sixspwn has been updated to support the recently released iOS 6.1.6. Using this small utility, you can perform an untethered jailbreak effortless.

p0sixspwn updated P0sixspwn Jailbreak Tool Updated to Support iOS 6.1.6

According to what iDownloadBlog reporters write,

If you’re currently using an iPhone 3GS or a 4th generation iPod touch running iOS 6.1.x, it’s highly recommended that you update to iOS 6.1.6, and benefit from Apple’s SSL fix. The good news is that you can then use p0sixspwn to enjoy the same untethered jailbreak that was available for iOS 6.1.3 through iOS 6.1.5.

P0sixspwn is a jailbreak tool developed by iH8sn0w and Winocm. It can be downloaded from Cydia’s ‘System’ section. However, before downloading p0sixspwn you need to perform a tethered jailbreak using RedSn0w or any other utility.

Keep in mind that it is recommended that you update to the latest iOS 6.1.6 as soon as possible since it contains a fix for SSL connection verification.

Apple has recently released iOS 7.0.6 to public. At the same time, the company from Cupertino seeded iOS 6.1.6 to users. Both updates contain a fix for SSL connection verification, so you should update your device. Be sure.

However, I recommend you to wait a bit, since Evasi0n7 1.0.5 isn’t yet compatible with the latest iOS version. If you can’t wait, you may look for unofficial patches for the jailbreak tool.

As noted by iDownloadBlog,

From the surface, it looks like iOS 7.0.6, which carries a build number of 11b651, just contains a fix for SSL connection verification. It is for all devices. And as for iOS 6.1.6, it carries a build number of 10b500, and is just for the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G.

The previous version of Apple’s mobile operating system was released at the end of January and contained a number of bug fixes and improvements.

One can download iOS 7.0.6 and iOS 6.1.6 via Software Update or through iTunes.

Good news for all those who miss iOS 6 -- there’s a new tweak on Cydia that brings back the old school unlock sound. It is compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 7 and I must admit it works just perfect. It’s name is UnlockSound7.

Guys from iDownloadBlog and Jeff Benjamin in particular were among the first to spot the tweak on BigBoss repo. Here’s what they write about it and here’s the video they made, showing how UnlockSound7 works:

UnlockSound7 is a new jailbreak tweak that allows users to regain the iPhone’s iconic unlock sound that occurs when unlocking the device. Take a look at our video walkthrough to see how it works.

As I mentioned above, the tweak is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repository. It’s free, so go and get it.

Many people don’t like iOS 7 and this has been proven by thousands or even millions of users who complain and ask Apple to bring back the old school design. Quite obvious, nobody will do that, so the only way to make your iOS 7 device look more like the iOS 6 gadget is to jailbreak it and use various Cydia tweaks to adjust the look of the operating system.

One of such tweaks is ClassicSwitcher -- a tool developed to bring the old school app switcher to iPhones and, what is very important, to iPads running iOS 7. This tweak hasn’t yet been released, but soon it will be available in Cydia.

According to iDownloadBlog,

Not only does it bring the old school switcher functionality to iOS 7, but it brings along with it several goodies as well.

And here’s the short video, which gives us a sneak peek at ClassicSwitcher, take a look:

As you probably know, a few days ago iH8sn0w, winocm and SquiffyPwn have released an untethered jailbreak for smartphones and tablets running iOS 6.1.3 – 6.1.5 – p0sixspwn. At the same time, the new version of the jailbreak utility for Mac – 1.0.3 – is coming soon. If you have any problems with 1.0.2, it is recommended that you update to 1.0.3 since it is more stable.

Don’t forget to make a backup before jailbreaking your device and remember you hack your smartphone or tablet at your own risk.

One can download p0sixspwn for both Mac (version 1.0.2) and Windows (version 1.0.4) here.

iH8sn0w and winocm have posted a new video teasing an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, 6.1.4, and 6.1.5. The video demonstrates the untethered jailbreak on a n78ap (iPod touch 5) running iOS 6.1.3.

p0sixspwn 225x400 Untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod Touch 4G with iOS 6.1.3 6.1.5

H8sn0w has announced the release of an untether package for the old devices running iOS 6.1.3 – 6.1.5. This includes iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod Touch 4G.

With the unexpected release of the evasi0n7 jailbreak, we are finally able to release the 3GS/A4 6.1.3 + 6.1.5 untether Cydia package.

To get the package you must have already performed a tethered jailbreak via redsn0w or sn0wbreeze. Simply open Cydia, refresh the packages from the Changes tab, and then search for “p0sixspwn”.

Sn0wbreeze will be updated at some point to incorporate the untether directly. The next priority is a jailbreak for all devices on iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 6.1.4, including A5 devices (iPad 2/3/4, iPhone 4S/5, etc).

H8sn0w says no eta, however:

We expect it should be out by Christmas day. So if you don’t feel like upgrading to iOS 7 and prefer 6.1.3/6.1.4, sit tight for a bit. :)

Good news for all those who have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 7 – all of a sudden, evad3rs released an untethered jailbreak for the seventh version of Apple’s mobile operating system. Evasion 7 jailbreak utility was released December 22nd. A kind of a Christmas present from hackers, huh?

In a move that I think caught all of us way off-guard, the evad3rs have just released an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7. The team is calling the hack evasi0n7, and it’s compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4.

What’s even better is that the iOS 6.1.x users, who previously successfully hacked their devices, can upgrade without losing jailbreak. So if you want to see something new on your iPhone, go ahead and try out jailbroken iOS 7. I’m almost sure you will like it.
